GENERAL INFORMATION:

Preflex-NT is a scientifically balanced neuroprotective and neuropathic pain-relief formulation combining:
• Pregabalin – an anticonvulsant and neuropathic pain modulator.
• Nortriptyline – a tricyclic antidepressant with analgesic and mood-stabilizing benefits.
• Methylcobalamin – a bioactive form of Vitamin B12 essential for nerve regeneration.
Together, these agents help relieve neuropathic pain, paraesthesia, tingling, numbness, and nerve damage-related symptoms while improving mood, sleep, and quality of life.

INDICATIONS & USES:

Preflex-NT is indicated for:
• Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy
• Post-herpetic Neuralgia
• Cervical or Lumbar Radiculopathy
• Sciatica and Chronic Neuropathic Pain
• Trigeminal Neuralgia
• Alcoholic Neuropathy
• Chemotherapy-induced Peripheral Neuropathy
• Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain Syndromes

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION:

• Usual dose: As directed by the physician.
• Typically, one tablet once daily after meals, preferably in the evening or at bedtime, depending on the patient’s tolerance and clinical condition.
• Do not crush or chew the sustained-release tablet. Swallow whole with water.

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS:

Most side effects are mild and transient:
• Dizziness, drowsiness, or fatigue
• Dry mouth, constipation
• Blurred vision or mild weight gain
• Mild peripheral oedema

LESS COMMON / RARE SIDE EFFECTS:

• Palpitations, mood changes, confusion
• Urinary retention
• Allergic skin rash
• Altered liver function or serum sodium (rare)
If any of these occur, consult your doctor immediately.

WARNINGS & PRECAUTIONS:

• Use only under medical supervision.
• Avoid driving or operating machinery if drowsiness occurs.
• Use with caution in patients with renal or hepatic impairment.
• Avoid alcohol intake as it may increase dizziness and sedation.
• Inform your doctor if you have heart disease, glaucoma, or urinary retention.
• Pregnant or breastfeeding women should use only if clearly prescribed by the physician.

DRUG INTERACTIONS:

• Increased sedation with alcohol, opioids, antihistamines, benzodiazepines, or sleep medications.
• May potentiate effects of other CNS depressants.
• Nortriptyline may interact with MAO inhibitors, SSRIs, or antiarrhythmic drugs—concurrent use requires medical supervision.
Always inform your healthcare provider about all medications and supplements you are taking.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

• Hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation
• Recent myocardial infarction, severe cardiac conduction abnormalities (for Nortriptyline)
• Severe renal impairment (dose adjustment required)
• Pregnancy and lactation (use only if benefits outweigh risks)

Don’ts

✘ Do not consume alcohol during therapy.
✘ Do not double the dose if a dose is missed.
✘ Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how the medicine affects you.
✘ Do not self-adjust or discontinue therapy suddenly—it may cause withdrawal symptoms or rebound pain.
