PEA-Plus

10 × 10 Tablets
Advanced Neuroprotective and Anti-Neuropathic Formulation

Pea-Plus belongs to the neuroprotective formulation, combining endogenous lipid mediators, antioxidants, nucleotides, and botanical actives designed to support nerve health, neuroinflammation control, and chronic pain modulation.

Composition (Each Film-Coated Tablet Contains):

Ingredient Strength Functional Role
Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA – 90%) 600 mg Endogenous fatty acid amide with potent analgesic and anti-neuroinflammatory properties
Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) 200 mg Universal antioxidant; supports nerve repair and glucose metabolism
Chromium Polynicotinate 50 mcg Enhances insulin sensitivity and glucose control
Uridine Monophosphate 40 mg Promotes neuronal membrane phospholipid synthesis and regeneration
Cytidine Monophosphate 40 mg Supports neurogenesis and synaptic repair
Mirliq® (Standardized Curcuma 250 mg Anti-inflammatory and antioxidant support for neuropathic pain

General Information:

Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) is a naturally occurring lipid molecule produced by the body that helps regulate pain and inflammation. When combined with Alpha Lipoic Acid, Uridine & Cytidine monophosphates, Chromium Polynicotinate, and Curcumin (Mirliq), it offers a comprehensive neuro-restorative approach—addressing the root causes of neuropathic discomfort, nerve degeneration, and mitochondrial dysfunction.

Indications and Uses:

Pea-Plus may be used as adjuvant nutritional support in the management of:

  • Peripheral Neuropathy (Diabetic, Chemotherapy-induced, or Idiopathic)
  • Lumbar Radiculopathy and Sciatica
  • Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain Syndromes
  • Post-Herpetic Neuralgia
  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
  • Neuroinflammation associated with Metabolic Syndrome or Aging
  • As a supportive supplement in Neuro-repair and Nerve Regeneration

Mechanism of Action and Benefits:

  • PEA (Palmitoylethanolamide): Modulates mast-cell activation and downregulates microglial over-activation, reducing neuropathic pain and neuroinflammation via PPAR-α activation.
  • ALA (Alpha Lipoic Acid): Scavenges free radicals, restores nerve conduction velocity, and improves glycemic control.
  • Uridine + Cytidine Monophosphate: Provide essential nucleotides for neuronal membrane repair, enhancing axon regeneration and synaptic function.
  • Chromium Polynicotinate: Improves insulin sensitivity and reduces metabolic stress that aggravates nerve injury.
  • Mirliq® (Curcumin Phytosome): Acts synergistically to inhibit COX-2 and TNF-α pathways, providing neuro-anti-inflammatory protection.

Together, these ingredients enhance nerve repair, restore cellular energy, and reduce chronic neuropathic pain with a natural, non-sedative profile.

Dosage and Administration:

  • Recommended Dose: 1 tablet twice daily after meals, or as advised by your healthcare professional.
  • Route: Oral

Duration: Typically used for 8–12 weeks or longer based on clinical response.

Common Side Effects (Mild and Self-Limiting):

  • Nausea or mild gastric discomfort
  • Headache or transient fatigue
  • Metallic taste (due to ALA)

These effects usually subside with continued use or when taken after meals.

Less Common / Rare Side Effects:

  • Mild skin rash or itching (rare)
  • Sleep disturbance in sensitive individuals
  • Increased bowel movements or mild laxative effect

Seek medical attention if any allergic reaction or persistent side effect occurs.

  • Individuals with hepatic impairment, thyroid disorders, or on hypoglycemic therapy should consult their doctor before use.
  • Pregnant or lactating women should take only under medical advice.
  • Maintain adequate hydration during therapy.
  • Keep away from children.

Drug / Nutrient Interactions:

  • Antidiabetic drugs: Monitor blood glucose; ALA and Chromium may enhance hypoglycemic effect.
  • Thyroid medications: ALA may influence thyroid hormone uptake; use cautiously.
  • Anticoagulants / NSAIDs:Mirliq (Curcumin) may potentiate bleeding tendency.
